Balloon ride over Tournai
Tournai is one of the oldest cities in Belgium, and seen from a hot-air balloon it's instantly one of the most beautiful too. The five towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral rise clear above the rooftops, while the Scheldt winds in broad curves through the city and the surrounding landscape.
It's a little further from our home base in Wervik than our other departure points, but well worth it: the open fields around the city give us plenty of room to lift off quietly and admire the historic centre from above. Here too, we guide both Dutch-speaking and French-speaking parties.

We confirm the exact location a few days beforehand, depending on the wind. It's always in the open fields around the city, with easy parking nearby.
It's indeed our furthest regular destination, but well within our normal operating area. We plan these flights with the same care and the same permanent crew as our flights closer to home.
