8 balloons, our own pilots
We don't sell tickets: we fly every flight ourselves, with our own balloons and our own experienced pilots. Gino Ciers and his team currently fly 8 balloons of different sizes, each carrying its own sponsor livery — all recent, well maintained, and inspected every year to the strict safety standards of EASA.
Deliberately 8 smaller balloons rather than one giant one: you fly in a manageable group, never an anonymous crowd. Book with a party of 6 or more, and the basket is automatically reserved exclusively for your group — more about private flights.
OO-BUJ — SupraBazar
Our bright yellow SupraBazar balloon — a familiar sight in the sky for many years. Already the third balloon we've flown for SupraBazar, in service since 2020.
OO-BBX — Gaverzicht 4
Already the sixth balloon in a row that our longest and most loyal sponsor has had built for us — a fully equipped 4,500 m³ Schroeder. Thank you for your continued trust, Meubelen Gaverzicht from Deerlijk! In service since June 2024.
PH-DJH — BMW Dejonckheere 2
Carries the advertising of the BMW Dejonckheere garage, with branches in Roeselare, Bruges and Tournai. Already the second balloon carrying the BMW Dejonckheere livery, in fabric specially developed in the BMW blue shade. In our fleet since June 2024.
PH-BWY — Bestway
New in the fleet since April 2024, this sky-blue balloon carries the livery of Bestway, known for above-ground and inflatable swimming pools.
OO-BND — X20 "Ducky"
New since late 2021: this eye-catching rubber-duck special shape, built for X20, a fast-growing bathroom retailer from Ghent. Built in Brno, Czechia, by Kubicek Balloons — its callsign OO-BND is short for the Dutch word for rubber duck.
OO-BQC — Smart Solutions
In service since 2020, this "black beauty" carries the livery of Smart Solutions from Izegem.
OO-BCQ — Be-Okay
New since 2020, a Be-Okay balloon with all the latest features — a bold and very successful design. Already the fifth balloon in a row from Meubelen Gaverzicht - Be Okay, of Deerlijk and Mouscron.
PH-OPR — Training balloon (hopper)
A unique balloon with a seat, also called a "hopper" — hence the callsign. A second-hand balloon with a past in Spain and Ireland, in our fleet since March 2024 and used to train our pilots.
More than three decades of balloons
Since 1991 we've flown many more balloons than the eight above — sponsors change, balloons age out and get replaced. It all began with OO-BGC, sponsored by San Marino and later also by Vandenabeele — the registration letters stand, fittingly, for "Ballon Gino Ciers".
